I am Tatjana Sašica, a Croatian food creator sharing simple, homemade recipes inspired by both traditional Balkan food and modern cooking ideas.

My journey into cooking content started very personally. My brother was getting married in Vietnam, and I wanted to share our Croatian food with my future sister-in-law, Nhung. I started cooking simple dishes at home, not thinking much about it at first — just wanting to bring our two families a little closer through food.

Even though we didn’t speak the same language, cooking became our way of understanding each other. Sitting around the table, sharing meals, and learning from each other’s food traditions became something really special for all of us.

What started as small home cooking videos slowly turned into something bigger. I began sharing these recipes online, and people started connecting with them. Over time, the content grew from simple home meals into a community of people who enjoy easy, comforting food from different cultures.

Later, my brother and Nhung came to Croatia, and we had a second wedding celebration here with our family. I cooked traditional Balkan dishes for everyone, and it became one of those moments I’ll always remember.

Today, I focus on simple recipes that mix Balkan flavors with Vietnamese inspiration and modern viral cooking ideas. I like keeping things easy, honest, and something anyone can cook at home.

My aim is to connect my food, my kitchen, and everyday life with people around the world through simple, joyful recipes.
